Laundry Love started about 5 years ago. Its purpose is to provide soap and money to the needy of our community so they can do their laundry. We do the laundry twice a month(the 2nd and last Wednesday of the month). Currently there are 6 local churches working together to provide this service.
We provide this service at the Quick Clean Laundromat onFlorence Blvd. We are able to provide this service through Church outreach services and individual donations. Over the last few years, we have seen the need increase, so we are serving the homeless, senior citizens on fixed incomes, and families. This service is a true community effort.
We pay for vouchers, one Wednesday every three months.
That anticipated cost today is around$600
We assist onsite laundry service from 3:00-7:00pm, often in two hour shifts
